Call me crazy, but I really wish Will Clark was in the Topps Tek sets. I love looking at other collections and their progress on the crazy Tek cards.

So, I'd love to hear who's working on which players, and how close you are to completion.

Whatcha got?

I have 4/90 from 1998.
I have 2 from 1999, but they were pre-prouction samples. Ironic since Tony Clark wasn't in the the actual 1999 set.

Topps Tek is one of the few sets that I still enjoy building after 8 years. Chavez was only in 1999 which I am happy about, I would have been ok with him being in 2000 but I think 98 would have done me in.

Current Status:
Base Set: 60/60 100%
Gold Set /10: 36/60 60% (I never thought I would ever get this far)

Someday I would love to do all the regular Ripken's for all 3 sets... but there's just too much Ripken stuff to focus on... so I just pick these up here and there if I see a cheap lot or cheap singles.

You are crazy!

Given that Erstad was much more popular back around release... I'm having a tough time completing my sets.

Erstad
1998 base 74/90
1998 diffractor have about 6-7
1999 base 60/60
1999 gold 15/60 if I remember correctly

63/90 1998 Topps Tek
1/90 1998 Topps Tek Diffractors
20/20 2000 Topps Tek
0/20 2000 Topps Tek Gold

I will probably never even attempt to get all of the 1998 diffractors. I may attempt the 2000 gold however, being that there are only 20.

I have two (2) 1998 Griffey Tek cards (SGC 98's) and a 1998 Ripken (SGC 92) coming from SGC sometime either Friday or Monday.

I collected Robin Ventura cards back then and did the 98 base set 90/90. Still have it somewhere around here.
