This card almost makes me wish I'd picked a different player to collect:

C'mon.

Somewhat on the fence with this product. Have seen some cards like the one you linked that are decent at best...

But then I see stuff like this and think it has a few cards worth picking up

I'll buy some if the singles prices are fair.

Yeah, I'll pick up a Prime if they look like that.
Probably not a "Beanie".

I've thought Triple Threads was the ugliest set ever since it came out. I don't need crap spelled out on my swatches. Also, why not just give me a nice big patch instead of three small one?

The 24x game used are some of the ugliest cards i've ever seen.

I'm not a fan of this set, and I would never bust the stuff. Seems like VERY little value for your buck.

Overpriced and under-delivers. I'll be letting other collectors pick up the Greenes and Harvins from this mulch bag of a release.

Seriously, dropping $175 for holo sticker autos? I'll save my $$ for SPA.

I would actually use harsher words in describing this watery loose elephant crap of a product.

Its like the Topps design team ate PF Changs for 3 weeks straight, drank 3 huge glasses super colon blow, and positioned themselves right above the printing presses with blank cards beneath them.

I wish I had better adjectives, but Im not sure I could loathe this product any more.

An example:

Why the **** would anyone want a card that spells out "PRIME" in diecut swatch windows, printed on neon rainbow foil, all while getting tiny ass player pictures and ugly ass stickers BUILT into the awful design. Cmon people, "game used" swatches do not give you the excuse to buy any of this.

Oh, but wait, it gets better:

Now we are confusingly spelling out stupid phrases in "game used" but not game used stuff, ditching the player pictures and the stickers, and using two fold out cards to accomplish enough space to fit this excessive use of relics.

I've seen worse. They don't look that bad in person. Hang on a second and I'll show ya what my luck brought me today. I'm a sucker for prime patches so I guess I'm biased.

Its always hit or miss with this product. There are variations of each card if that makes any of you feel better. Many of the cards for the rookies have cutouts that say 1st RD and then the team logo.

Well, it isn't Topps fault his nickname is "Beanie". I get your point though very lackluster design for a high end product.

I've always liked the look of Triple Threads baseball and football. One of the nicer products around I think.

I actually like these cards...except the "pr I me" ones, that's just stupid imo. I get that it's a prime jersey, but don't spell it out in the window with an oversized I...unless it's a card of Deion Sanders.

TTT may very well be the most divisive sports card product out there. Those that love it: LOVE IT, and have no problem busting it by the case, or chasing down every parallel of their favorite player/team. Those who hate it: HATE IT, and honestly, short of a complete overhaul, there is nothing Topps could ever do to sway people from that camp into buying it. With Topps losing their license next season, they simply won't have to worry about swaying anyone.

So instead of me continuing to crap on this product I would never buy, I'll simply say that I hope those who are fans of Triple Threads enjoy this final season of busting new product and chasing their favorites.

This message brought to you by a kinder, gentler Slette.
