...mostly EBAY but they do appear in other auctions that I review as well. I only need 1940, 1943 and 1958 for regular issues. The Jay Publishing and Team issues look very similar from the late 50's early 60's. According to the Big Book one has the team name (Jay Pub) and the other just has the player's name (Team issue).

Loving Panini Immaculate right now for the Sox stuff---the colored game used I think is a HOMERUN and looks awesome, and the black back with gold ink autograph are fire as well! Much more incoming, here's the start of what's in hand already. Also taking a hard look at Stadium Club Autos as well!

Time to bring this thread back again. Some general Red Sox pickups in the last few months to share...

First off finally added a Fred Lynn auto #/10


Then picked up a couple of 90s inserts of Mo Vaughn



And lastly picked up a whole lot of old Sport Magazine insert photos from the 1950s-picked it up for the Doerr but these were an added bonus-highlights include the Pesky and DiMaggio

Does anyone have any idea who the guy in the red shirt is on this card? He's the last cameo to be identified. The photo is from Getty, and it is shown below along with two other photos from the same series.

There were 30 players on the Red Sox roster at the time, including 5 on the DL. 13 of them are possibilities, since 17 others can be eliminated based primarily on other photos and videos of the same event. The names follow the pictures.
