Just got back from a two week vacation in Mass, and managed to hit up several shops on the Cape, as well as hitting up both the weekly show in Woburn and the Mansfield show.

Also got tickets to see the Sox beat Baltimore last Saturday. Before the game, they had a canned food drive where you could make a donation and get some auto'd photos. I picked Wakefield and Bay. The game was good. Watched Laroche hit his first homer with the Sox.

Anyways, here are my more interesting pickups from the last couple weeks:

A few new additions to the Red Sox auto set (last one doesn't really count, but it makes an interesting addition):

An 06 UD Special FX Blue Beckett. I don't see these very often and I love them, so for a $1 it was a no-brainer.

And finally, my vintage pick ups. The black and white Lefty Grove card is from 1950-1956 Callahan HOF. The Sammy White is a 1954 Red Man. The 1950 Bowmans are a little beat up, but the Pesky was only $3, and the Doerr was $18, and fits into my slowly growing Doerr collection, so no complaints.

A couple new pickups. I bought the AG stuff from a guy at my local card shop on Wed. It is my luck that he was traded the next day. Oh well. The Dice-K is the chrome WBC redemption, and the Doerr (for the non-vintage collectors), is a 1947-66 Exhibits.

A few more new ones. The Doerr Team Heroes is a 1/1, though I am having trouble finding it checklisted anywhere:

Nice! Looks just about complete (minus the wood 1/1). Does Bay have a code card?

I still need the EXT, mini wood 1/1, mini wood EXT 1/1 and mini framed cloth /10. Bay doesn't have a code card listed on Beckett.

From tonight's Salem Red Sox game:
Tim Federowicz on a 2008 Tristar card and a 2007 USA National Team card.
