I've slowed down my spending on cards, both cause the holidays approach (need toy money for baby and momma) and because nothing has blown up my skirt lately. Here are the few things I've picked up in the last month:

Its a big old piece of jersey, though there is some damage on the front between the swatch and the auto. Still a nice looking card.

A couple pickups from my first show in awhile. It is often referred to as the "old-timers" show, and with good reason. There was A LOT of vintage there, and more Pre-war than I have ever seen in one place. There were a bunch of things I would have loved to pick up, but it is the holidays, and the money has to stay in the bank account for presents. Either way, I picked up these 3 for under $20:

The Ostermueller joins my very fledgling attempt to put together a '40 Play Ball team set (minus the Williams). Here is the rest of what I have right now:

A few small pickups. I actually found the two Jensens, along with some other vintage, in a binder I hadn't looked at it awhile. The Brown, Hudson and Conigliaro I picked up for a $1 each at a show. The Conigliaro is kinda beat up (especially on the back), but for a buck I think it was a still a good buy.

Yep, have about 6 or so cards with 1 autograph. Since he got traded I haven't had much motivation to get any more of his cards since I only collect players in Red Sox uni. Though when I start working again next year I will attmept to get all of his cards that have him pictured as a Red Sox because player collecting is pretty fun. I was sad to see him go!
