He might play for the Sugar Land Skeeters - while Roger Clemens, Scott Kazmir and other has-beens have played there - it seems more like an upscale beer league team, so it's probably not going to lead to much.

what's the deal? his knees shot? I'd assume he makes more in the NBA now that he would if he could make the majors.

I don't doubt he has a okay chance of being successful in baseball considering he's in the upper tier of basketball athletes by having solidly made the NBA so he has demonstrated some athletic ability.
