Trade At The Shop = New Favorite PC Basketball Card

While at the shop tonight for a Madden Tournament a guy asked if I was interested in this card. I quickly said yes. I offered him a 2008 Donruss Threads Emmitt Smith Dual Patch and he accepted. This is now my new favorite basketball card in my PC!

That's a nice card for sure. I don't know much about Football cards, but apparently that's not a bad deal. I also got lucky at the shop one time. I had just got back into collecting Shaq cards, but didn't even have a base jersey card of his yet b/c I hadn't collected in over ten years. A guy came in looking to trade or sell to the owner and I asked if he had any Shaq and he did. After the owner looked for what he wanted the guy showed me what he had and it was a Shaq Lux Box GU card #'d 25. I offered him the $20 I had in my wallet and he took it. The card books for $30 and since I bought it in person I don't think that's bad, but to this day it's my fav Shaq GU card I have and I just came across it by being there at the right time.

So do you guys think it was a good trade? I really could care less because I am huge Rockets fan and I didn't really need the Emmitt Smith card.

Yeah, I think that's a good deal. Especially if you like the Rockets and/or Mcgrady a patch for an auto is a good deal I think. I'd say enjoy it b/c the Mcgrady looks better to me and at least he hasn't been on Dancing w/the Stars....Yet. :lol:

Pretty even tbh. If you are a Rockets fan its a steal, but in terms of value its even. A much higher profit potential in McGrady though.
