Hello everybody! Just need to get some advice here. Pretty much everything I've obtained since I started collecting again (last three months or so) has been PC. I really don't have anything that I care to trade at the moment, but would like to obtain some desirable cards so that I can trade with those who don't just sell their cards. I mostly collect lower-end GUs / Autos / low #d (like the Olympic ladies, Gary Carter, Dale Murphy, Dave Parker... etc).

So my question is what would be the best cards to snag up so that I may trade on the lower-end? or rather what card(s) or what player(s) would have the most universal appeal?

Thanks! :P :P :P

Trading is overrated, just keep buying for the PC

I agree, but sometimes there are some cards that can only be obtained through trading. :P

Never made sense to me to spend money on trade bait...seems like it'd be easier to just use the money to buy what YOU want outright.

But I guess I could understand it if someone has something only for trade. On FCB you will find lots of people that love prospect cards, so pretty much any Bowman product from the last three or four years would have the kind of thing people want. Then again, the people that have what you're looking for probably aren't into prospects...so I think I would stick with low end star autos. For example, some Felix Hernandez and Hanley Ramirez autos can be had for $10-$15.

Very good! Thanks for the advice! That is the perfect amount for my Groupon!

Make a note on what some of the members player collect.

I, for instance, collect Glen Perkins, as well as a few others. I would love to trade for anything low end.

base chrome lots of decent prospects as well as some lower end parallels may go a long way on here with all the prospectors. I would probably keep a little bit of everything on hand gu/autos/prospects/vets. Its always nice to have a diverse bit of cards that appeal to a broader spectrum ot traders rather than just having "prospect" stuff or just "gu/auto" stuff. You might want to start small and work your way up from there.
