endthecurse trades a 2008 Bowman Chrome Ryan Kalish AU BGS 9.5 to ROLLTIDE4LIFE for $15 (PayPal) and a 2007 Bowman Sterling Josh Vitters AU BGS 9.5.

The Kalish will be sent via USPS w/ DC on Wed 5/20... the $15 PayPal was sent a few minutes ago.

What the hell... I've had 26 trades/deals on BO and never had a problem. The only thing I ask is that the person on the other end ship the card you agreed to ship at the time you agreed to ship it. Of my 4 deals here (not counting breaks, of course), 3 have been shady.

Here's another one... please tell me if I'm off-base.

Tide and I agreed to trade a 2007 Sterling Vitters for a 2008 Chrome Kalish + $15 PayPal. When we agreed to the deal, it was based on the Kalish pic from my bucket and the Vitters pic from his. At the time, he had 2 Vitters in his bucket - both were 9.5 x 4.

I shipped the Kalish with DC this morning. When I came back to PM him that it had shipped, I noticed that he had a separate post about some other Sterling Vitters he had just acquired - one of which was a 9.5 with a 9.0 sub. I PM'd him to confirm that the Vitters I am to receive was 9.5 x 4 - since those were the only ones in his bucket when we made the deal. He responded that he doesn't have those anymore and that I'll have to get one with a 9.0 sub - although "I can have it regraded" if I want.

First... those of us that like graded cards know a 9.5 x 4 is more valuable than a 9.5 with a 9.0 sub.
Second... why the bait-and-switch? Why not tell me, when we made the deal, that the cards weren't available? I would have declined and we could have moved on.

I took a screen shot of the "new" Vitters that he has in his bucket... they were added today.

I'm sure my experiences aren't typical of the transactions that normally go on here, but this is weak. Sorry for the rant, but I'm disappointed... would like to have some fun on this board, but trading is definitely out.

This is funny...

I just recv'd a PM, asking me to be "more specific next time". Seriously. When we made the trade, he only had two Sterling Vitters cards in his bucket, both 9.5 x 4, when he asked me to "check his bucket". Why would I assume he'd have others?
