On the other side of the coin the Pirates did deal one of their best bullpen arms. Pitching does win games so hopefully the rest of their staff continues to pitch well the rest of the eason.

Agreed, though after acquiring Rodriguez for the starting staff I'm guessing they plan on using Correia in the bullpen to pick up the slack.

Why do you idiots keep defending Travis Snider? Is it because you wasted money on some of his baseball cards? He has been WORTHLESS his entire career. At least Toronto got back a decent relief (sub 2 era) guy.

Really brah? I don't prospect so I don't really have an investment in Snider cards. Most Jays fans are disappointed from what i have seen on various message boards. Travis' development has been mismanaged. He's never had a full season to prove himself. He has shown flashes of potential over the last few years but has been inconsistent so far.
This is the kind of deal the Jays would make, buying low on someone like Snider. Not selling.

I think every Jays fan knew that Snider was going to be traded. As someone mentioned the writing was on the wall. Snider did the Jays a favour by performing the way he did the last few weeks. With E5 been extended there were too many bats available. I am hoping we can move Lind now and get another arm or so.
