Treasure Hunters August Group Break *SCANS POSTED*

Since I need to figure out who's keeping their team, I am posting this now.

Heres how these breaks are going to work:

You sign up for a team and you get that team in every one of our Treasure Hunters box breaking group breaks until you let that spot go. However if you let the spot go and someone else signs up for that team they will have ownership of that team for as long as they want.

We will be doing at least 1 mixed box break a month. I will announce the boxes that we'll be doing at the first of the month. Then the money will be due within a week or two of filling it up. Once the break is finished we'll discuss what boxes we're going to get for the next month. We still have to fill 16 slots so once everyone has signed up i'll open it up to the public. You can get multiple slots as well.


This is our monthly group. When you sign up for a team you have the rights to that team in every break. We will be doing mixed boxes every month. Also will be doing cases when something special is out or the group decides. We will vote and discuss boxes before the 1st of the month. Anyone can sign up as long as the team you want is there!

Price: $65 a slot

**As always if a dual, triple or quad card comes out it goes to whatever team the first player on the card is, regardless if the team has been picked or randomized. If there is more than one of the SAME card , the 2nd card will go to the 2nd team.

For September, I voted for the SPX case, but my second choice would be an "other" - 5 boxes of Spx and 5 boxes of Absolute. Just thought I'd throw it out there. This is going to be fun - these breaks are going to keep getting meatier as we get into football season!

Yeah that would be fun...However that'd be almost the same as getting a case of SPx

Yeah - the price is about the same. I wasn't suggesting it so much for a different price point as to mix in some Absolute which has been pretty solid the last few years with the SPX. It would just add a little variety in the break.

I am all up for it.... I love absolute. If it was 18 boxes i'd prolly push that more than SPx

I voted for the 5 boxes of SPX. As much as I'd like a full case, I think the prices are only going higher. Just trying to keep it in the $50-$70 area.

I voted for a case of SPX as well. I know the idea of this group is to be fun while keeping an affordable price point, but a case like SPX would be a lot of fun with a lot of potential hits for everyone. As long as we do not consistantly go over the $100 mark, I don't see anything wrong with doing an occasional "pricey" break. I think everyone would have a great time watching the hits and wrappers fly on an SPX case.

Nate- Have you thought about doing an Absolute case outside of the TH Group? If you were to do a case of Absolute with this same set up, pick a team and second team random, I would buy into that one as well. That would be a lot of fun. Just throwing that out there. :lol:

A case is too much to be honest. If i am going to charge $150 a slot I need to make it something like 2 cases of Exquisite or something.

I may drop the Leaf Limited break and do a half case of Absolute.

Thinking about staying in untill my credit with you runs out. I would prefer to just do some boxes I know when we started this thing it was to just bust some boxes each month and keep the price down around $50 or so per month.
Seems like it is going to start turning into Cases with a much higher price point.
So not sure if I will stay in for the september at over $100

I agree, however the SPx thing was in our sites since the group started. October we will be staying with 8 boxes of LCM.

quick question. As previously stated we have been trying to keep it around 50 or so per month. If this month gets voted in for a 100+ break can we bow out just for the ONE month and get our team back the next month when it comes back to normal?

Sure. What I may do is run 2 5-box breaks simultaneously. So the people who want to spend $100 can be in both and the people who don't can be in the TH group so they can keep their teams. How does that sound guys?
