Nate - I got home from a meeting a little while ago, checked in and saw your pm regarding the break tonight. You asked for comments/suggestions in the thread and with the idea that others may feel the same way I do, I thought I would throw a few out there.

First, I'm not trying to air you out here - I appreciate your running this and think it's got the potential to be a lot of fun.

My first suggestion is that two threads - one in the regular football forum and one in the box break forum - on essentially the same subject is a little confusing and redundant. Having to jump back and forth between them to keep up on the status of the break is a bit much. Maybe just post the monthly thread about the next break, who's in/who's out, status of payments/product order/etc. in the main football forum and then just open a thread in break forum the night of the break with the ustream link and, when it's all over, the results. This would streamline things a bit.

Second - if we're doing a break of multiple product, wait until it's all in and then set the break. We're all anxious but doing it in dribs and drabs - especially if you're going to be handing out incentives like free slots, boxes, etc. -isn't really right.

Third - if you're going to set a break, a little more than two hours notice would be appreciated, once again especially if you're going to do some kind of auxilliary drawing that we need to be there for.

When I got on tonight and saw that part one of it was already over and hits were starting to get posted, I checked both threads and the ustream link to try to find the second team list but I haven't seen it yet. There are hits being posted but I don't even know if any of them are mine.

Like I said at the top, I'm not trying to rip on you personally. The group break bar has been set pretty high here on FCB by a few really good members (All in Cards comes quickly to mind). I just think tightening things up here a little would add to the enjoyment of the Treasure Hunters breaks for everyone involved.

I'm in for June, by the way.

Understood, only one thread next month and maybe the occasional update, in fact i'll prolly delete this thread when I post the Elite break. The idea was to get everyone who doesn't frequent the box breaking board to see the break and hopefully want to join.

I am not sure how you didnt see the second team list it's posted twice on the other thread, I posted them next to your sign up team and posted the random.org screen shot. I am sorry you didn't see this but mostly everyone saw it. As for the 2 hours notice, it probably is my fault, but I have posted the tracking number in thread and explained that i would probably break them when I got them. I will from now old hold onto everything and break em all at once After this break. I have given a 3 day heads up. I will go ahead and do them Saturday and won't do them tomorrow.

Understood, Andrew is a great box breaker, I have been doing it for 3 years, I know what works. I am trying to get more people to join and do things to bring people to the breaks and join the board. The baseball side is completely different, he can post anything and it'd sell out. Makes it easier to do things the same way over and over.

My only suggestion for the next one would be as Billy Packer pointed out a bit more notice on the breaks. But I see that you already have given more notice for the rest of the boxes, So I guess I should just go screw myself.

Thanks for the clarification on this Nate - several of the posts leading up to the break made it sound like you had there to qualify and that's what bummed me out about the short notice. Like I said - I think these are going to be a lot of fun once we get the wrinkles worked out and get into a rhythm with them.
