I'm kinda liking that California-themed all-star foldout.

So basically there's an extra hit, but you may not get a triple relic-auto (regular relic auto, instead).

People that complain about stickers really need to start considering the realities of the situation. Everyone wants on-card, so I'm pretty sure we can stop bitching about stickers, but consider this:

"Mr. Koufax, can we send you products every 2 months to sign and return to us within a couple of weeks?"
"No. I'll sign once and once only."

"Mr. Aaron, we've noticed that you haven't returned the cards we sent you, is there any way that you could get on that?"
"I seem to have misplaced them. Is there any way that you could send me a new batch?"

"Mr. Musial, stop eating the cards"
"Num, num, num, num"

I don't care...sorry
If they want my money, they need to work harder for it.

Why was UD able to get so many hard signed cards of HOFers and Star players for their high-end products?

Wtf is Sandy Koufax doing with his time that is so important?

For what they charge for TTT and Sterling, they can send someone to get the cards signed by Aaron.

I'm tired of people making excuses for why a multi-million dollar company can't make their products better.

I know I've said this before, but the level of acceptible mediocrity in this hobby amazes me.
It wouldn't be allowed in any other business/product/service.

BTW, it is not like Koufax is signing a ton; all of his autos will be Super SP.....plus Topps knows there 2011 designs and could print all of his cards now........I mean they look like 2007-2010.

but this way they can have him sign his Sterling stickers at the same time.

~you never know, they might change that design this year~

I agree that stickers help with making product hit the shelves timing wise...but the company creating cards is the one paying the player to sign, you should have specific guidelines for that. With Topps letting Koufax put autos on stickers thats a bad reflection on Topps and not on Koufax. Koufax can say no all day long to what he will or won't sign and when he will deliver it buy...its Topps and the similar companies that make it okay to submit to a sticker so they can get product out. Either way...this is why I will buy singles of high end cards so I can get what I want for my money 8-)

Not to rain on the parade, but the sell sheet always looks great to me every year, and for the more realistic look from my personal experience of Triple Threads.... Your box will contain:

that certainly isn't news to anyone buying triple threads

I am a fan of it KNOWING what I am getting into. I am fully aware that some boxes can stink, it's just the way things go.

And I'm going to buy a box again this year. Maybe this year with the obvious and realistic expectations is the year I hit something with greater than a $10 resale value.

I will say, the "Singular Swatches" featuring "sunglasses, wristband, necklace, etc." sounds really interesting, but unfortunately nothing on the checklist about that subset that I saw. I'll also bet the Adrian Gonzalez-Carl Crawford Auto'd Pairs booklet sells alright here in Boston. Also a little confused why every combo relic has each player listed twice...

2010 Yes.......because of Stras/Heyward. Seems like every case had one of their autos.

I was just curious how people store, display and look at these "booklet cards?"

I haven't owned one of these "booklet cards" yet but think they are pretty cool. Im just curious how people are keeping these in mint condition if they like handling their booklet cards and displaying them?

These look great. Disappointed there's no Dale Murphy, but I see one fantastic Braves card in the sell sheet.

Oh, definitely mock ups here too....they forgot to add Derek Jeter's name to the Laundry Tag card in the sell sheet. Still shows the design text.

I really like the unity idea. Only suggestion to this would have been to die-cut the themed cards so they could be locked together to form one card. I *think* Topps did this with some of the Stadium Club inserts back in the 90's.

Of course, storage/protection of that locked card would be difficult with no holders on the market currently to accommodate such a great looking piece.

Eh, looks like last year with a different design. And still with the stickers Topps? For the love of God, make an on-card high end product!!
