Tristar OBAK Mini National Promo HELP!!!

Hey Yo! I have some questions regarding this set. At the National, Tristar did a Box Promotion for these cards. The complete Mini promo Set is a 24 card set. It includes 8 cards #'d/100 & 16 #'d/1999. the Tristar rep commented at the National that less than 10 complete sets were put together. Has anyone heard anything else about this print run and/or set? I know the cards are #'d/100 & #'d/1999, but obviously not that many were handed out. It really is a sharp looking set, here are some pics.

BTW, the Obama card #24 is supposedly very SP'd, but that is all the info I can find. Any info would be great. Thanks in advance. Rob

They were at the National signing autographs and doing some box wars thing. Let's just say that makeup is a wonderful thing. Up close, they were quite "rough". Body-wise = GREAT! Face = not so much.

Oh....and on-topic, a certain mod & I went to the TriStar booth late Sunday and sweet talked the rep for a stack of mini promos each. I didn't realize any were numbered. I'll have to pull them out tonight and take a look.
