Yep, the Costello is part of the 1989 contest. Made me wish I'd got a Jim Abbott in my group of cards, so I could have gone for Abbott & Costello.
DANNY

I got Abbott, but from everything I've seen, he seems very hit or miss with more misses

Special thanks to MrMet (Scott) for getting these for me at an event he attended!
Bill Gullickson on a 1988 Donruss card, Frank Tepedino on a 1970 Topps card and Lee Smith on a 1994 Collector's Choice card. I think I'll have a contest later on, as I approach my 500th different Yankee autograph.

Though this was not IP or TTM, I would like to share that my project to get autographs of every player from the first major league game I saw can now be labeled PROJECT COMPLETED!
I found a nice Danny O'Connell on Ebay and went for it. I paid $85, but thought it was a nice clean autograph to complete autographs of players from my first baseball game(s) on 8/1/1962 (Doubleheader between the Senators & Yankees in DC)...almost 51 years later.

I haven't been on the board much lately, been super busy. I'm going to break my recent successes up into a couple of different posts instead of one huge one.

Danny- Congrats! That's a very cool project to complete!

Andrew- You've been killing it! Glad to see you back into the TTM groove.

I have always liked the 1990 Pro Set set, so I am trying to get the entire team set signed.

I actually sent 2 index cards to Mr. Granger. I included in my letter that I sent index cards because I did not have a baseball card to send. So Mr. Granger signed 1 of my index cards and included a signed 1970 Topps as well. Awesome gesture by him. Thank you!

This last one is an IP success.

Not last Friday, but the Friday before (July 26), we went to a free signing. Indianapolis Colts DE Robert Mathis was signing. Crystal got him on our Colts helmet. I didn't have anything, but they had posters that Robert was signing, so I got one of those. As a Bengals fan, I love the poster because he is sacking Ben Roethlisberger on it.

How do you guys ship OMLBs through the mail? Whats the typical cost? I have a few partial team balls burried in a closet I'm either gonna send out or dump on others and have never shipped a (cheap or low value) ball

I have yet to send my first ROMLB TTM yet, but I have researched it. This is the info I have found.

Get an 8.5x11 bubble mailer and a 6x9 bubble mailer
SASE the 6x9 with 5 forever stamps
Place the ROMLB in a sandwich baggy and include a blue pen
Address the 8.5x11 to whom you are sending and use 6 forever stamps for postage
Place the stuff inside the 8.5x11 and send

I've read several blogs, websites, and so on and those tend to be the steps everyone says that they use. Like I said, I have not done it myself yet, but I plan to do it next Spring Training.

I posted this in my IP thread, but I'll post it here too.

I got Al Newman 2/2 yesterday. Al is the coach of the Alexandria Blue Anchors.

He signed an 87 fleer for my set, and a 89 Topps
