I caught him in the stands, behind home right before the game started. He was very friendly at that time. I tried to get him earlier in the year on the way to warm up, but he refuses to sign on days when he is pitching. From others I've talked to, he is very quirky.

Got this one back today. Wayne Terwilliger for my Cubs auto collection. On a 51 Bowman. He also signed an index card. Only took 7 days.

I got 53 of the 63 living players to sign 51 Bowman cards in 2011. I didn't pursue the Mays, as the card price plus fee were too much.

That's pretty good Danny. I hope to continue working on getting Cubs autos. I hope to work on some of the older ones first but mix in others along the way. I have several already but I need to get them together and see how many I have. I have bought a few cheaper ones as well when they are on newer cards. I would like to get as many Cubs as I can. I printed off the list of the All-Time roster since 1948 from SCN a while back. It is rather lengthy so I doubt I could accomplish getting them all. I will just get what I can here and there.

If you know one of the older players signs TTM, I'd go ahead and get a lower grade card of him to send for an autograph sooner, rather than later. Several have died from the 1951 group since I did my project back in 2011.
