I think I got lucky for once. My sister hired a friend of her son to shovel our sidewalk and driveway. He's been out there for about a half hour. He's getting it done quick. I shoveled it all the last storm we had. I was pretty sore after. I guess I'm old.

Morning all!

Another day off here. Some digging out from the snow still to do but a lot less wind to deal with…

The new stations are saying that Tiverton Rhode Island got 43"s of snow from the storm yesterday. Tiverton in about 20 miles north of Newport Rhode Island on the south coast.

Morning all! Jerrod slept like crap, which meant dad slept like crap. Day one of the audit went well, don't think we got knocked for anything yet. Back in our office today. He could be here either 2 hours or all day today, before moving on to our other location

The Globe isn't printed in Boston anymore. It's printed in Taunton Mass. down towards Cape Cod and pretty close to Rhode Island. Taunton Mass got over 30"s of snow. I very rarely buy the Globe. Once in a while (usually on Sundays) I'll buy the New York Times.

Afternoon all! The not so small town I work in has railroad tracks cutting the town in half. Growing up it was 1200 population, now it's pushing 20,000. My office, circa 1915, is less that 100 yards from the tracks. Most days three or four trains come through town. Since we have two sets of tracks occasionally a train will stop, waiting for another train to pass. Then there are days like today. Probably 10 trains so far. The most recent train has been sitting for an hour and a half, idling. I think my brain is rattling.
