Some churches might have needy people also

Churches around here take small stuff like clothing and food. Furniture is too much for them. I'm waiting for the Habitat charity to email or call me. Thanks for the suggestions tho.

Afternoon all! Everybody at my house is finally healthy this week for the first time in who knows how long, probably Bennetts birthday clear back on January 3rd. So with Everybody healthy, we stopped by my grandma's last night so she could see the boys. She's been quilting the last few years, making quilts for all of her kids and grandkids. Well, everybody else got there in January when I was out with covid, so she gave us ours last night. She was trying to figure out a way to get a baseball into the pattern of the fabric, but it just wasn't working out. So if you look closely at the actual quilting on here, you can see there are baseballs throughout it. Jayme wouldn't have gone for a full blown baseball, but I love how she subtly included baseball into our quilt

Also, don't leave cards on the counter with little kids around. Had a Harold Baines Stadium Club autograph show up for my HOF auto collection yesterday. Set it on the counter to go upstairs and change out of my work clothes. Couldn't find it anywhere after that. I asked Bennett and he told me about 5 different places where he put the card. Needless to say, it wasn't in any of those 5 places lol

Finally some good news:

Got message that I do NOT have to go in tomorrow for jury duty. Woohoo!

I received an email from Habitat for Humanity this morning. They can pickup my furniture the same day and same time as the other company. Now I won't have to pay to have the stuff picked up.
