Hey everyone. How goes it? Just bought a James Franco auto from the Spiderman set from 2007. Loved his roast this month :)

NICE! I still need to watch the roast (only one I haven't seen yet), but that's pretty sick.

Seems a little silly, but what I do is put a gift card (they are generally very straight edged) against the top edge of the scanner glass. Then slide the card to be scanned up against the bottom edge of the gift card. Then just crop out the unwanted part.

I use the side of a thick top loader and like Charlie said line it up and move the top loader out of the way.

Thats exactly what i do too. I tried using a toploader but the sides were never 100% square. I use a starbucks giftcard now.

And after thinking about it, maybe Dustin needs that scanner Burbank has for his thousands of Dawson cards :D

Thanks for the tips everyone, I will be experimenting tomorrow

Dawson's so fast, he changed his undershirt in a millisecond there!

Makes me think of that Chasing Bigfoot show, where they have that guy named Bobo be the sasquatch fill-in to estimate the size of the 'squatch!

Almost looks like those are from Twist-to-open bottle of Old Spice.

They are a Canadian beer cap, I believe Molson Export

I have to get on blowout!

Was just reorganizing some stuff and decided to rescan this. My "biggie" from last year's MTSS:

That is one of the coolest cards I have ever seen.

Thought on the copper rose autos ?
Thinking of going for a griffey

I have picked up a Dawson Silver already, got out bid on the 1/1, and haven't been able to get a copper rose for my price liking yet and I refuse to buy one that has been written on.

Had the markers actually worked they would have been great. If the griffey is a redemption your hoping and praying for a decent auto.
A profar sold for $43 with a decent auto and another sold for $17 with an inferior auto. I missed out on the $17 one would have paid $20 for it.
