you think he'll be able to hit over 40HRs while hitting above .320?!

That's pujols territory.

I don't know. He hit .326 while hitting 26 HR's over 4 months (not counting 1 in October/ 11 AB's). That is an average of 6.5 per month.

6.5 x 6 + 1 (order of operations kids) = 40 HR's based on 2009

Then I consider the fact that he only had 195 AB's in the 4th spot in the line-up in 2009. He hit .344 w/ 12 homers. Tulo will be hitting in the 4 hole, all year long with 0 interuptions with Tracey as manager.

Also, I've read every article about Tulo during the off-season and lets just say that I'd collect him if he was a .240, 20, 75 type guy!! Great person, unbelievable work ethic, and life skills.
a .240 20 75 would be the third best hitter on the giants lolz

That's ok, you've got Lincy and Cain. BTW, I didn't think your Lincy prediction was that far off. But he'd have to have a different line-up behind him.

realistic predictions:

.315 27 HR 125 RBI 15 SB

Lincecum: 20-7 2.35ERA 275K 1.02 WHIP :P

Honestly, those are terrible predictions for Tulo. They could be 100% correct and I'd take both, but based on 2009; they are bad. His HR's went up as his average went up, but you are taking away HR's as his avg. goes up...

I can understand leaving Tulo's HR total of 32 the same, but AVG and RBI must go up for 2010. You can't throw out the splits. I could also understand predicting a bad April and May considering Tulo's career so far.....but that leaves out the stance change and the manager change.

- batting clean up all year instead of 195 AB's
- new stance
- new manager
- new year.
- a better Rockies line-up
