Anywhere Delta goes.
I am right there with you guys. They will show up at my house on Monday afternoon, I leave out of town Monday morning and get back Saturday. I am pretty XXXXed on any decent return unless the box prices stay up there. I also bought the first couple hours of pre sale.

Leave it to the Twins fans to want the Diamond autos! (uh, I'd take one, too) His first auto, our ace, would be the Opening Day starter if he was healthy, so that will have some demand from Twins fans. All those other guys are duds or nobodies to me.

A load of Turkey Red? GL if so. Sounds like a real up and mostly down product. I'd guess singles may sell well to Player Collectors. You could easily flip/trade Twins singles on our page.

l figure if he's off to a great start and I can keep grabbing them for 5-8 bucks, why not. So far diamond's only certified auto, so if it bumps up to 15 per, nice little penny to be made. If Iget stuck with them, so be it. More for the Twins pc lol

I never knew Diamond had a cert. I might have to track one down for the PC.

I can see Twins collectors being all over these cards honestly...

Jim,

Not to be a ******, but if you look at the print runs on this site:
2013 Topps Turkey Red Baseball Checklist, Set Info, Boxes, More

If you add up the entire print run of the #'d 50 or lower autos...it's about 700 or so. Then there are the four auto cards that you had multiple duplicates of...which had print runs of 689 (and a fifth at 620). So...I think what you pulled was actually close to what most will be getting in 20-25 boxes, unfortunately.

Now, there are about a dozen or so autos that haven't had print run numbers listed yet, so that could change things. But it really looks like the way the product was set up...everyone is going to be getting those five autographs in heavy duplication. Pretty terrible product planning if so.

thats the worst run of autos I have ever seen sorry Jim

Unbelievable duplication. 43 Possible Autos to hit. Out of 25 boxes you'd think you'd get some variety. Not so much.

6 Scott Diamond Autos /689
5 Mike Fiers Autos /689
4 Andrew Carnigan Autos /620
3 Chris Archer autos /689
2 Steve Chishek auto /689
1 Drew Hutchinson auto /389
1 Jeff Niemann auto /48
1 Joe Saunders auto /20
1 Wily Peralta auto /20
1 Andrew Carnigan brown border auto /10

1 Ian Kennedy Plate

The 249 Base cards yielded 1 complete set. Second set was missing 13 cards.

That sucks big time. I was worried about this when they announced after the presale that there would be another round. I was able to presell all 50 of my packs the weekend before second sale, and boy am I glad I did.

Hope the base gets you back to even at least.

I realize this is bumping an old thread, but boy was I ever wrong about this product. Sure, the disappointment over the way the autos fell is legit, but dang, this set delivered on the ROI. The base cards were gold.

I'm sure you were delighted to be wrong. Glad your purchase went well.
