Wow, people are stupid...and this "hobby" is becoming a satire of it's former self...

I knew from page 4 that there was going to be WAY MOAR of this available after the "pre-sell", and I knew people would be XXXXXing about it.

I don't get the interest anyway. These look nothing like any Turkey Red set previously made aside from the border.

I'm a hobby shop owner who would love to sell these to my customers. Unfortunately--although you'll probably be glad to know--I wasn't given any preferential treatment despite being a shop owner. This direct to consumer crap is unsettling.

well, then you should take solace in the fact that it probably won't become an everyday thing, especially with large numbers of dealers having orders sent to their mothers, kids, the fat chick down the street they're tapping...and let's not forget spastic uncle Schlomo in the home...all to get around order limits because they feel terms of sale don't apply to them.....because all that does is create negative feedback from the customers who get shut out and then get railed on price by the ethically-challenged losers out there.

And since I can't imagine Topps would even want to deal with that crap, I'm betting direct to consumer will be one or two items per year, at best (or worst, in your case).

But hey, they're trying, at least......Marvel never even got beyond the planning stages back in the mid-'90s before the comic shop owners started threatening boycotting them for even daring to suggest going direct to consumer.

Oh mighty keyboard warrior just checkout my purchase history versus my sales history. I'm a collector. Selling a few packs of this stuff for a 15-20 profit doesn't do much for my bank account. I spend about 4k a month on my collection.

You know where you can stick that "mighty keyboard warrior" bs, don't you? You know, you're not supposed to breathe in all that sawdust, 'thug...it causes breathing problems, which leads to less oxygen to the brain, and that leads to, well, your typical responses, I'd imagine...

I own the place pal. I love the sawdust. But I have a feeling you couldn't handle the manual labor sweetie.

I think the spirit of intention was Topps doing something for the collector. Which is a great idea and they wanted as many collectors to get involved as they could so they put in a household limit. Now this is brilliant in itself because most of us only have one house! Well then people start sending them to their place of work and mom and dads house and brother and sisters house the neighbors house.............. you get the picture. IMO this is not what Topps wanted. So flame away and tell me this is a free country and any other bs you want to get out here......But I'm saying you're wrong if you bought more than the limit allowed for yourself.

I want to clarify that I believe this to be the case only during the presell event. When they put the other 20000 boxes up for sale, buy as many as you want.

Yeah, but I can honestly say I wasn't aware of that fact until I read it here earlier today or yesterday. The seller may be under that impression. Or he may be lying. Who knows.
