Yea, I got screwed over by t-mobile so I left them. No other company really appealed to me so I decided to go the pre pay route until I decide who I'm going to sign with.

I'll get that number to you soon, don't have a ton of minutes right now

Friday night is a must. Even though Craig and Bo aren't around here as much, we'll still try to carry on meeting at Hubert's for a beer and burger before going in. Usually meet around 3-3:30. Mauer's line will be like Puckett's used to be. Same for Morneau. Always interesting to see what prospects they get up here--last year the line for Ben Revere was always huge--and any new old timers. Otherwise it's a lot of the same guys. Pavano could be a new addition for autos. We'll see, but it'll always be a blast!

I'll be there to check everything out. Probably not interested in waiting in line for autographs though.

Is this event sold out? Is there a list of who is signing? Price? If nothing is going on that weekend, I may drive in with a Twins fan from Detroit.

Here's the twins webpage on Twinsfest.

Tickets just went on sale this weekend, so you have plenty of time. The list of signers usually doean't start appearing until January or so, then it changes every so often.

It's not sold out, no. Tickets for adults are like $8 in advance and I think $10 at the door.

I don't think it sells out. It's more of a big card show, with autograph signing stations spread throughout the dome. You should be able to purchase tickets right at the ticket booths on the day you're there. IIRC, tickets are $8 if you pre-order and $10 at the gate.

I don't think they have the official list out yet, but they usually have most of the Twins current players as well as some past Twins greats (Killebrew, Hrbek, Oliva, Carew, & other retired former Twins). I know Bob Feller has been there several times with his own booth signing (for a fee, of course).

As far as prices, you can expect to pay ~$25 each for Killebrew & Carew. The rest depends on if they're alone or with other players. I missed last year's so I'm not sure what they charge for Mauer/Morneau but the lines will be HUGE for each of these two. I think I remember them being $15. Some of the lesser stars may sign in small groups, so you may pay one charge of $15 for two autos. Then there are groups of 4 or more guys signing that are lesser players or prospects for $5 or $10 and a free booth that usually has some prospects.

If anyone else remembers better than I, feel free to correct me. ;)

Thanks for the info guys! Sounds like it would be worth the trip if you can get Mauer for $15! Tigersfest is different. It is $14 to get in, and all autos are free! They have miystery lines you get in, and at the end of each line there are 2 guys signing. Players rotate in and out every 45 minutes. 2 years ago I missed Verlander by 10 people! He got up and I was so bummed! He was replaced by Andy Van Slyke and some new draft pick little kid named Rick Porcello. I like the free auto thing, but at least at Twinsfest you get to pick whose autos you want!

He wasn't last year and he's now the coach of the A level Twins team, so I doubt he'll be there this year either.

Good luck getting Mauer this year, I had to wait 4 hours for him and that was two years ago. This year is going to be a mob scene.

Can you buy as many as you want, or is there a limit?
