Starting to make my plans...

http://minnesota.twins.mlb.com/min/fan_ ... autographs

Interesting to see they have Pavano with Morneau, and Slowey with Mauer on Friday night, instead of them being alone. Nice pairing on Friday night of Jim Perry (his first Twinsfest appearance) and Mudcat Grant. No Killer, Delmon Young or Ben Revere on Friday night. No Mauer on Sunday. Lots to think about...

Interestingly, the Twins have finally split the Friday night pairing of Mauer/Morneau. The last 2 years they have been paired together. Also noticed that Aaron Hicks and Kyle Gibson are going to be there all 3 days. Nice.

May do a ball on Friday of the prospects.

Then, just do cards Saturday / Sunday. And visit with anyone I meet that recognizes me in some Marlins JSY I'll be wearing ...

Cardfather, HOF (Killebrew, Carew, Molitor) are $25. Stars (Blyleven, Nathan, Morris) are $15. Can't remember is Morneau and Mauer were $15 or $20 last year. I'd expect $20 for them this year--which is a crazy steal! Corner 1 and Corner 2 autos are either 5 or 10.

I am pumped, too, but trying to think of what to do! I have a Gold HRD ball I bought just for Morneau to sign, and I really don't want to miss him again--like last year. I may go to him first, wai *** out, then get other guys later. Would be nice to have Mudcat and Bert together!

I think I'll be going Saturday. I like the show, never seem to buy anything as it's mostly local stuff... but it's fun.

The last few years I've gone I haven't got any autographs. I normally just stroll around for an hour or two looking at all the stuff then head out. I normally don't have any money when it's going on so I can't afford to buy anything. :(

Just by chance checked out the Twins site and saw the schedule posted.
No Cuddy Friday night puts a slight kink in the plans, but I will deal with it.
Think I will be there Friday and Sunday for sure, gonna skip Saturday.

For Friday, I would like to hit the Hrbek/Oliva line. Also the Blackburn, Mijares and Hardy line. If I'm there late enough, the Harris, Koskie and Liriano line (I have a dual Liriano/Garza card that Garza signed a few years ago and would like to complete it.)

For Sunday, I would like to hit the Hardy, Young and Kubel line, solid for $10. The Morales, Span, et al line for $10 is also solid for that day. I will hit Cuddy today too. No one I want durning his 11 AM schedule, so the wife and I can camp out in this line after getting the early guys. I might have to go thru his line twice as I have a ton of stuff I want signed, bobbles, ball, hat, bat, cards, etc.

So for Cuddy, I have a GU ball from his cycle night, so I am going to see if he will inscribe it with the date of the event and with Cycle Night (if the helpers dont complain and tell me/him no inscriptions). I also have the pink Mothers Day bat in my sig to get signed. Should I have it inscribed with anything (if so, any suggestions) or just have him sign it?

I'd have him inscribe game used on the bat and date if possible. That would look really cool. Or something like game used Mother's Day 2009.

The Mother's day bat will look awesome with a sig! That should be your #1 priority! Too bad he won't be there Friday. My wife has convinced me to head straight for Morneau Friday and get my HRD ball signed (I have a couple Pavano cards to choose from so I'm covered.) The Blackburn/Mijares/Hardy is a great $10 line, as is Harris/Koskie/Liriano. I wonder how big the Perry/Grant line would be, since I have been wanting Mudcat on a ball, too. Blackburn/Span/Tolbert on Saturday morning is good, too. So many possibilities! Meeting at Hubert's? Doors open at 4, so we'd have to meet earlier or eat faster.

Wow.

At the Winter Warmup, Joe Mauer would be atleast $150, and Morneau would be atleast $85.
