I'm sorry, I should have been more clear.
I wasn't saying that people didn't go last year because of the change of venue. What I'm saying is that there were people that could not go last year because of the change of venue (tickets were capped) and they broke their tradition of going. Once a tradition is broken, at times, people won't go again.

Well people didnt go last year because they limited the number of tickets for the 3 day event, not because of the venue change. It was still busy as ever out there (taking size into comparison)
The Minnesota Twins today announced that tickets for TwinsFest 2011 are sold out. For the first time in the event's 23 year history, the Twins have capped ticket sales at 25,000 for the three-day event. (In past years, there were easily 25,000 people at the Dome daily)
"Due to the unfortunate collapse of the Metrodome roof and our move to the National Sports Center in Blaine, a venue with smaller capacity, we have decided to cap ticket sales to TwinsFest to ensure the best possible experience for those who will be attending," said Dave St. Peter, Twins President.
Tickets will not be available at the door on any day of the event.
I think the Mauer line will be the typical Mauer line, 300-500 people deep daily
