Two Ted Williams Patches!!

I just spotted this one in completed listings when looking for the other one I wanted to make a comment on one of his patches. What do you guys think about this one, real, fake? The seller ended the listing early saying the item wasn't avaliable, almost immediately. Plus I would think if that was real it would be an absolute steal at a grand. What do you guys think?

Now this is the patch that I wanted to make a comment on. Is anyone else but me disappointed that this isn't at the very least a two color patch? This would be a really nice item if it was a three color classic Ted Williams Navy, White, and Red patch. I don't like it just being the one color patch. Any thoughts?

They're both real. The owner of the Ultimate one told me he has plans on slabbing the card "authentic" with Beckett.

I know obviously the second is real and the ultimate I doubt anyone would buy to fake since they're all very expensive. That's a good idea I'd do the same, really sick patch. I still think it's a steal at a grand.

I'm sure that one's real, but I don't know if $1000 is a steal. It's certainly one of the nicest Ted Williams patches out there, but there are a few people like me who have no interest in it because it isn't from his playing days. If I'm going to spend that much on a patch, it better be from a game in which he played, and not sitting on the bench managing the Senators or as a spring training guest coach.

I have scans of 7 out of the 9 Sweet Spot patches made, and of those 5 are really boring patches just like the one that just sold.

I have an Ultimate like that from one of Andrews group breaks.

I've emailed UD several times asking what they knew about the road jersey used in some of the Ultimates but they've never gotten back to me..
