UD Series 2 Box.. I didn't know UD had hot boxes!! (w/scans)

My store got a SP Authentic Auto Letter Patch RC of Jeff Baker /50 as their topper (they cracked to sell packs)

I didn't know they had hot boxes either until your break so I stopped by my local shop, mentioned it to the shop, waited for UPS to arrive and then tried my luck and hit one. Pretty fun. I was like who hoo 2nd or third pack in when I realized I got one. Did your box have a buynack topper? I noticed mine did not. the other non hot boxes however did have a topper.

Here's what I found out..

Hey Kevin,

So the Dealer-board was inundated with posts about the HOT BOXES!
First it was guys wondering if anyone else was seeing these...

Then came the answer...Each 12-box case has at least two hot boxes
(some dealers had as many as four!)...You know right away if it's a
hot box or not...because every box has a topper EXCEPT the hot boxes!

I just lined up another case that'll get to the shop next week! Prices
(as you can imagine) are already starting to jump!

Wow...Upper Deck may have done something right...

So if your box doesn't have a box topper, it will be a fun rip.. but now that the store owners know this, will they be looking for the boxes with the box topper?
