UFC 106!!! Holy crap what a card

I didn't want to buy this card because it didn't look good on paper but I'm glad I did.
It had all the makings of a fight night. Every fight was actually really good. I'm mad that my boy Marcus Davis got worked by someone who looked like a light heavyweight and I'm mad that Koscheck won but overall it was a fantastic card.

yeah that was an amazing card!! Tito and Forest lived up to the hype yet again and put on a hell of a show. i would love to see a third fight between these two warriors. the Johnson vs Koscheck fight was a bit slow with all the stops i would like to see that one again, but over all a great PPV. Kendal Grove looked great with that quick triangle he threw on in the prelims.

I don't like Grove but that was a slick submission he threw in there. Griffin Ortix was a great fight but I don't know what fight the one judge was watching to give it to Tito 29-28.

Was a good card.

Sad to see my boy the NYBA get owned so bad, and it sucks that The Heat didn't fight, AND that Cabbage Patch **** Koscheck won, but the night was complete for me withmy dawg Lil Nog winning in his UFC debut, and Forrest finally getting his win over Tito! Grove looked good too. Was surprised Anderson wasn't sporting the pink sweater in Lil Nog's corner!

I would have purchased this if it was still Lesnar/Carwin, but watching it for free on Sopcast was good enough.

I thought Ortiz won the fight,i had it 29-28 Ortiz.I had Ortiz winning the the 1st 2 rounds and Forrest winning the 3rd. :?

I'm a HUGE fan of Saunders. Like you said he's really big for 170 and I think he has lots of potential. He showed last night just how devastating a good thai clinch is when you incorporate knees. I didn't get a chance to see his fight against Swick but he's been overly impressive in every fight I've seen of his. Davis is a legit fighter and Saunders pretty much worked him over. I don't know if he has what it takes to be a top guy but he's really solid and seems like a pretty cool guy too.

You know, last night before the Phil Baroni/Amir Sadollah fight I made fun of the UFC for putting 'Big Heart' on the screen as one of Baroni's attributes. But in that fight he showed he had a huge heart, in taking a beating, but still coming with everything he had. Baroni is a warrior. Hope he gets another UFC fight.
