Pretty disappointed Rampage lost to Rashad. I think it would have been a good idea for Rampage to take a tune-up fight beforehand because he definently had some rust. Rashad was noticeably faster than Rampage, and Rampage didn't seem to get comfortable and warm up until the last round. I was almost positive he was going to end him with that flurry, but hopefully we get to see a rematch between these two. I think it will be a different story the next time.

I think 'Page SHOULD have finished him in that flurry. But he was too tired and didn't follow up like he should have.

I am kind of disappointed there wasn't any trash talking after the fight. Didn't want any Strikeforce or Daley **** to go down, but Rashad calling Rampage a bitch or Quitton or something would have been nice.

this is jmo but i really think the beef between these two was just for show...i dont think they really hated each other but they both did it for the ratings unlike real hate recently with daly vs kos and lesnar vs mir

If it was made up animosity for storyline purpose they would have had the usual 'Serra/Hughes' hand raising love fest after the fight. Which they didn't. I buy the beef.

I agree with the "beef for ratings" idea, to an extent, as even after the fight during Rashad's interview he stated that the reason this fight had built up so much hype & a following from the fan's was because Rampage & he knew how to "put on a good show"...Heck, if you watched those PrimeTime 114 preview's (each week after "the Ultimate Fighter" there was a new episode leading up to the fight) you saw Rashad smiling/grinning everytime he spoke about Rampage, or during the fight interview w/Rashad & Rampage- he was laughing & smiling/grinning before each question involving what he thought of Page or what Page thought of him)- which in many way's leads me to believe that most all of this animosity was put forth as a show to build up to a "******", which is what inevitably sold PPV shares & put arse's in the seat's on fight-night! Now I wrote "to an extent" when I started giving this point-of-view because I had a more difficult time reading into Rampage's expression's, as I think somewhere along the line what was intended by Dana White to be a "fake feud" between the 2 to make $$ ended up pinching a nerve (or getting a bit real) for Rampage. I think maybe Rashad may have unintentionally gotten too personal or hit Page with a low-blow in his eye's & he began taking it seriously (though Evans probably thought the whole thing was for show).

Anyhow, I think there will be a rematch but it will be after one of them has the belt...Just think how big that would be? :D

If Rampage & Evans held hands after the fight then that would kill thier feud & the possibility of a future "Re-Grudge-Match" & where's the money in that? I think Dana & his brain's behind the scene staff are a smart bunch & know how to captivate an audience...they know this fake-feud between the two is a PPV gold mine that can be harvested for year's to come! ;)

the way they talked shat to each other in the same style makes me think to an extent it was for show, or at least to hype themselves up.

would have been interesting to see what would of happened if it was 5 rounds.
