What i want to know is why a lot of people think Machida deserves a title shot :?:

...as for Machida, his record speaks for itself. The guy is tough as nails and has an amazing arsenal of punches, kicks, body shots, and BJJ is amazing

and he faces Thaigo Silva at the Penn/Pierre card.

If he beats Thaigo, he should be next for Rashad, then the winner of that will more than likely face the winner of a Rampage/Forrest rematch

Machida would get wrecked by Rampage, bottomline. He's good I'll give him that, but I think when he faces a great striker like Rashad/Forrest/Rampage he'll lose. Maybe it's just a personal bias because I really don't like him

Regardless? It make sa difference when you fight a guy that fights at a weight class 50 lbs lighter than you. I still say that Machida has to fight a top level LHW before he gets a shot. If he wins, put him up against Rampage, or Forrest.

Youre missing the point that Penn weighed in at 190 for the fight while Machida was 205...not like he fought 155lb against a 205lb.
