Okay so here's the jist of the story.

I won an item via best offer, once I won I told the seller I wouldn't be able to make an immediate payment but that payment would be made promptly less then a week(3-4 days give or take). He replies back saying how it's unacceptable and I should be lucky he accepted my offer. Alright w/e no where in his auction did it state 24 hr payment or anything of a time span paying period, so I see that he relisted the card that I had only won a few hrs ago, he ignored my messages and now the same card was sold to another buyer.

What should I do?

Yeah I guess not, only reason why I messaged him is that I'm a new member and just wanted to be upfront with him, but I just got a message from him after I asked him what's going on, and said he had one more and I would still get mine once I paid, I asked him for a scan of the one I'll be getting to make sure he's not lying. Ugh

Relax, pay in 3-4 days then deal with it further IF he refunds your payment.

It doesn't matter as long as you pay him before the 7 days. The buyer has all the rights on eBay and the seller has none anymore. So, I would wait the 3 to 4 days, pay him and if they refund or do whatever, you have ever right to contact eBay and state that the seller did not comply with rules.

I just got this back.
I can send you the scan after payment is received. One has been paid for, I have 3. If you pay before the other person you get the better one. Although I have to say 2 are mint and one has slight crease in back, maybe NmMt. There are all good cards.

Honestly, it's always best to ask those questions before submitting a best offer. Most sellers are fine with it but you never know when you'll run into a seller like this.

haha yeah thanks, I know I'm at fault to bring this upon me, but to relist with the same scan as the one I won is just shady and not right.

No it isn't, especially if the card has some value to it.

The buyer has NO obligation not even common courtesy to email the seller and say "hey when you accept my offer I won't be able to pay for 3 days" none whatsoever. you are not at fault here. You are dealing with an idiot seller in my opinion.

Also, I heard he has a 4th one of the same card that he is going to list. That one was in an oragami contest so you better pay fast

Okay guys so the seller who previously had 100% feedback now has within the past week has gotten two negatives.

TERRIBLE. seller wasn't happy with final bid and never sent cards.BUYER BEWARE.
NEVER SHIPPED CARDS HAD TO FILE DISPUTE WITH PAY PAL BEWARE

And as the pay day approaches, I think this guy is just gonna not send me anything and then I'm gonna have to go through paypal claim. What should I do? the guy still won't send me a scan of the supposed card I will get,he's firm on waiting for my payment first.

Pay for the card and wait it out.

2 wrongs don't make a right.

That being said, this guy is a worthless ebay seller.

I think I would go with the advice of others and pay for it when you said you would and wait to see the condition of the card when you get it before filing a negative. I dont think filing a negative is warranted just yet, but I would give him a 1 in communication on the detailed feedback.

I would not make a "Best Offer" if I was unable to pay for the item immediately. Had you not done that, you would not be in this mess.

+1

Situations like this are why I don't sell on ebay anymore. If you can't pay don't buy. It's really pretty simple.

Okay so I was about to pay for the item and now on top of the 2 negatives he's received, this week alone he's gotten 6 more negatives all of which say, never received card had to file claim/Do not trust.

Uh....I had the situation last week where I made a best offer and paid within 48 hours. I think that as a seller, you need to give the buyer a week to pay. As a seller, I don't bug buyers until they're more than a week late.
