***UPDATED*** Who is the best team in the NFL right now?

In your opinion, try not to be biased

I would have to go with the Jets as the number one team in football. Yes I am a huge Jets fan, but I truly believe they have the best, most complete team.

Passing game: Sanchez has taken the next step in becoming an elite quarterback this year. 8 td's, no picks and he is the leader of the offense.

Running game: LT ha shown that he's still got it and can still explode at any time. He's off to a great start. Shonn Greene is a power runner and IMO him and LT are great split runners because they have two diffirent running styles.

Recievers' Dustin Keller has been the best tiht end in football so far this year. Another two td's today. Braylon is playing very well and so is Cotchery. Santonio is coming bac from his suspension next week si look for more explosivness

I dont even have to talk about the defense. Top three defensive teams in the league, if not the best.

AND the most entertaing coach in the NFL, Rex Ryan

I will say the Bears if and only if Cutler comes back at 100% next week. The defense is a little shakey on passing but is solid on turnovers and run stopping. The offense besides tonight has been great this year with Cutler and Forte putting up big numbers. But if Cutler does not come back and his injury gets into the teams head then the best team imo would be the Steelers. Who went 3-1 missing Ben and they can only get better when he comes back.

I was going to put the Bears as a choice in the poll, but Jay Cutler went down and might miss a few games. Without him, they're no better than a 7-9 team.

Green Bay looks good right now and Philly was looking great until this week but im going with the Texans as the best team right now (another team that didn't make your cut :lol: ).

I think that list needs to be expanded a bit. You clearly have to include the Ravens and Steelers if you are talking about the best teams in the NFL. I think once the Steelers get Big Ben back they will assume the role of best team in the NFL but it is really wide open this year. Also, while my Fantasy Team is loving Keller right now, Antonio Gates has not only been easily the best TE in the league, he might currently be the best pass catcher in the league so far.

You don't see many polls that have "other" as the leading vote getter, this will be one of those times. Your choice of teams are horrible, but to each their own.

So you leave off 6 teams that are 3-1, and an undefeated team, yet include a 2-2 team and a 1-2 team that has only beat the winless Lions, in a poll for "best team." Why not include the Cowboys, since ESPN seems to think they are Super Bowl contenders again after getting their first win?

My Bias does not allow me to vote for the Jets.
They can suck it......as can the Marlins and the freaking temporary field turf that had to cover the infield that both Jason Allen and Brandon Marshall lost their footing on.
I will say their offense has def. looked impressive and that is a bit scary.....but the defense sans Revis - not so much.


So I voted other - Since that seems to encompass Pittsburgh, Houston and the Ravens who have already beat the Jets.....seems the way to go.

Wait, who I am kidding?

So far this year, it's really tough to pick a best team. I think the Colts are better than their 2-2 record. You also can't sleep on the Steelers (fantastic defense for the most part), Broncos (good passing attack), etc. The Chiefs are a team I like, but I worry about Cassel.

You do realize there is only room for 10 teams on a poll right? Everyone is crying about certain teams not on a poll. if i included every team that you guys said id have 20 teams on the poll.

Stop crying and vote for other, its just a fun thread jeez.

And lol at the two people who criticized me for being biased. Both Patriot and Dolphin fans, i love it!
