So, I got shorted the "autographed memorabilia" card in my SP Authentic box, and I'm sure a few people on here have dealt with being shorted in the past. My question is a two-parter

1. Will customer service actually provide me a replacement patch auto card, or will they just send me some crappy auto, and say that they fall on average.

2. I got my box from store credit, so I never got a receipt. Are they going to cause problems about this, since I don't have a receipt, or will they be cool with the wrappers/box?

Side note - not impressed at all with SPA. My other box had a Pat White redemption... did anybody actually sign for them?

If you had store credit, that means you are probably cool with the owner, so I'm sure he can give you a receipt for the box. Just let him know what happened and I'm sure he'll understand.

About their customer service, I would say if you are on facebook, contact them through their, UD and Panini both have employees on their and they should help you out. If not, call or email them and let them know you got shorted.

Well thats a tough question to answer as far as #1. I would think they would try to send you a replacement patch/auto from the set. They may decide to just send you packs instead. As for #2, I would call their CS toll free number and talk to a rep. The guys in Dallas for the NBA All Star game probably can't do too much for ya as they are busy working the floor.

I too am a little depressed with the SPA release. I was expecting more to it but there is a TON of base. I did OK in the three boxes I got for review. I hate Jason Smith with a passion. A jumbo patch auto /99 being 1 color? Come on? And you can't get Kenny Britt to sign? What in the world? I also know Harvin doesn't have any live patch autos as they are redemptions. Just plain nasty if you ask me. The highlight was my Earl Campbell Authentics Autographs that is on card. Yay.

I got shorted 3 times last year, I sent in the UPC and the packs in and got back three auto patches, not the
greatest names, but still they made good. Good Luck

This was already said, but, I was shorted big time last year with no multi autos and they did come through.

Yah, they're really good.

Obviously, they have to walk a very fine line. If they start handing out terrific cards, everyone will claim to be shorted. So, from the looks of it, they'll mostly send out crap with the possibility of a very good card. I think it's fair as they can get.

They're much better than topps, as you know you won't be getting absolute crap back.

I am still debating sending my box of sweetspot back, but it costs 10 bucks. Who gets shorted in Sweet Spot, anyways.

I talked to Customer Service this morning, and they talked me through the process. I'm pretty much expecting to get a crap card back from them, considering all four of my boxes have had simply crap in them. If I get something nice - hey, all the better.

Thanks for everyone's feedback!
