I tend to agree with this. I haven't paid very close attention to this thread until recently when I posted up two cards and one got claimed within minutes... I'm looking to throw another item or two up maybe tonight... with that said, I am then going to look down the list and see what is still up to be claimed and see if I would PC anything... For example, last night I saw the Bob Feller auto back on like post 1,100 and that's actually something I think I might claim.

I'd like to participate as I've been following this thread throughout. I've only posted one card which was unclaimed and taken down. The problem is people post something, and then post somebody's name next to it and it makes you feel bad to jump in and claim it stepping on someone's toes and then "you're the bad guy around here". People should just post something and leave it at that IMO. And there are pages and pages of "received item, thanks" taken up space instead of a simple PM to let that person know. I bet this thread but would be less than half the pages if you just gave thanks PM'ing instead of letting everyone know "you received the card, thanks" which we should be all grateful but yet not make it public taking up pages and pages. And too bad the football thread is a ghost town. Great idea to do this though. Just a few bugs to work out. Thank you.

Totally agree here
I have disliked the "this is reserved for *** member" or "*** member has first crack at it" or "I would prefer this go to *** player collector" as it does detract from new participates. I am all for tagging, but that should be just a heads up to them, not a spot in line for claiming purposes.

I look at the mentions as just that. I have no problem with others claiming. I've missed out on a few cards because I was too late, and that's that. Whatever everyone wants to do as far as rules go is fine by me.

There's going to be more than one team/player collector interested for a lot of the cards posted.
