I just read a very cool article on the Pens website about an Army Veteran who was shot and lost most of the bone in his elbow during an attack on his living quarters while serving in Afghanistan. he also lost his Sidney Crosby jersey and a Penguins Stanley Cup Banner during the ambush. today after practice the Penguins presented him with a new banner and Crosby gave him one of his jerseys and autographed it for him as well. then Sid gave the soldier's son one of his sticks. it always cool to hear stories like this.

Lubash and his wife attended last night's game and he was given a 2 minute standing ovation and they played a video of him winning his leagues championship at the Mellon Arena on the JumboTron.
