USA card fan's...I dont understand these 2 ending prices

Just got this card in half a box I broke today...
2008 USA Kyle Van Alstine patch/auto #'d to 50

Well, looked at completed auctions and found this one

then 2 days later the crad ended at this!

how are the prices this much apart? anyone know what these acually go for?

Not sure how much of a difference this makes, but the second (higher) sale came from a seller who was auctioning off quite a few more of these 16U auto patches at the same time. The added attention drove more bids to his auctions, IMO.
