People are after Chrome here mostly because it's new and it's "chrome" but I can't fathom a player peaking and have more people interested in a Gold Refractor than one of these autograph/patches out of 99. Sure, a Gold Refractor is limited to 50 copies and it's "gold", but I would have to guess that a patch and autograph will be more sought after.

I could be wrong.

Machado golds are going for more than his patch auto. The sticker slightly hampers them, but not tons. If they were limited to 30 like last years, the prices would be insane I think.

I agree those patches are beautiful but everyone wants chrome.

No chrome...no trade.

But I must say you don't see alot of ppl willing to part with those USA patches and autos though.

I know which I would rather have...but then again, I gobbled up all of the Bobby Bradley I could in 2000.

I am dumping everything I have on the bay at the present time. I have not had time to list them all yet, but I am happy with my sales today.

I am just realizing how much time and effort it is to list about 500 items.

At least the USA guy from this year I bought hasn't gone too high in Chrome, and the guy I have stupid amounts of isn't in Chrome, just 2006 and 2008 USA team sets.

I've always heard the argument that chrome shows the player in their team uniform and that why its preferred. In this case, the players are in the same uniform and there isnt an auto.

Most folks are buying them or trading when they find them. USA patch/auto's and auto's will sell very well at draft time. Especially for those who bought Taillon's and a few other when the patch auto's could still be had for 30 to 50 dollars...

I haven't seen solid patches sell that low. Nice patches of Taillon hit their valley at around $60. A few one colors brought $30 if I'm not mistaken.

I sort of think these things are getting expensive to be honest. All of these guys besides Taillon and Harper were $10-$15 cards when they came out. Gerrit Cole came out at $30 and has pretty much stayed there. But if I can grab a few Pomeranz patches for $12-$15 and flip them for 4-5 times that, I'm doing it. Same thing with all of the other guys who are going for 2-3 times what they initally sold for.

Taillons have gone way up since Wossa started buying a few.

I am holding mine until he is taken by Baltimore.

I'm holding one of my orange refractors, everything I don't have listed and everything else that I have on the bay that doesn't get a bid.

Matching refractor colors with team colors is an overlooked angle to prospecting. Bravo sir.
