So I have my Henderson rookie cards in these as well as some low numbered serials. For those of you that use these as well who puts the card in a penny sleeve then in the lucite? Is this the proper way to do it? Will the card stick to the inside of the holder when taken apart? Does this damage the card?

Yes, if you use these big thick screw downs it is best to put the card in a penny sleeve first as this prevents the card from sticking to the holder and getting damaged when removed.

There has been many instances where people put these valuable cards in those thick screw downs back in the early 90s (without penny sleeves) and then when they went to remove the card many years later the card literally came apart in half do to the years of pressure in the screw down.

I personally don't put cards in any rigid holder that doesn't have a recessed area for the card. Penny sleeve or not, I don't think sandwiching the card like that is a good idea.
