I've had a Priority package stuck in Columbus, OH for 5 days now. This seems to be happening more regularly these days. A couple packages I've sent have been stuck in San Francisco of all places, for days and even weeks at a time.

I don't get it. It's not weather for the SF problem, though the recent hold up could be tax time. But come on, it's Priority Mail.

the more I read posts in this thread about sort facilities that are not forrest lawn, errr.... forest park, I am beginning to think the slowness is overworked/overwhelmed USPS sort facilities.

I'm lucky locally - at least five sort facilities were consolidated to one in-state and two nearby-state facilities but I haven't noticed any service issues in stuff I ship or stuff I'm expecting that tracking tells me is at the local sort facility.
