Value Boxes keep on giving

they are everywhere here in Huntsville. i bought 3 boxes and got zippo.

There are 5 left at target and 4 left at wally world.

i know this because i want to buy them everytime i walk past them.

Meijer keeps getting reloaded here with more, but at $14.99 a pop. I usually add one to my groceries. Oddly, my best "hits" have actually all been from Wal Marts. By best hits I mean (3) Banuelos Autos, Bryan Holaday Gold auto, and B H Blue ref auto! (Sadly it was brock holt, not bryce harper ::facepalm:: ::facepalm:: ::facepalm:: )

i think they are around $12 at my wal mart.

and since i live less than 1 mile away, i think im going to go get whatever they have left.

if i pull the harper super i will give you none of the credit

if i get nothing, i expect an apology and at least half my money sent back to me via paypal.

and since this was my 1000th post here there has to be a super in one of them.....right?

I have opened about 120 boxes, the chrome has yielded:
1 orange auto,
1 gold auto,
1 blue auto,
6 base autos.

Considering I opened about 1/2 a case worth of chrome in these 3 colored autos is amazing compared to my case breaks, most cases yielded 1 color auto per, (mostly blue).

This has been my favorite product to open this year. So much fun. Awesome value. The codes and Harpers alone give you a return of 30-35 % without even opening any of the actual packs. How many products have that much value guaranteed?

Considering there's only one Chrome pack in it, the odds have been so much better than opening cases it seems. Even if you open 288 of the value boxes, that's basically one case of Bowman Hobby (albeit for 4x the price). And after the terrible cases I opened I'm thinking this might be a better route for packs this coming season.

I have opened 350-400 of these. The last 200 or so that I have opened have netted me no better than a $20 card from Chrome.

I believe the initial wave of these were loaded with the hits. Out of the first 180 I opened I hit 18 Chrome Auto's. From the last 200 or so, I have hit 11 auto's The second wave was from the stores that restocked that I hit, and 150 of them came from an online dealer in early February. It isn't the biggest sample size, but enough for me to feel that way.

I wonder if there's money to be made by buying a hobby case of 2011 Bowman Chrome and listing the packs individually on ebay saying that they are straight from Walmart and you took them out of the value boxes and only opened the Update packs.
