One numbered to 25 just went for $125 and was wondering what you all think a /5 would go for (its a customer's). He's putting it out at the White Plains show this week.

PRETTY PENNY

Nice card. I have no clue though. Haven't followed the youngster but from the posts on here, seems to be that he's doing very well this spring. Perhaps 2-300 would be in order?

Plus, he hit two home runs TODAY for the big team. One of them was fan-aided, but the one off Verlander left the entire ballpark and may still be going..

They still will have to send him down, but man he looks good. It's only Spring Training but...

Mike is he setting up with you? Is it the same guy as the last show? Or your second half (mike ) gonna be there?

In my opinion, I would HOLD that card...his stuff is way undervalued still. Brown is an interesting case as he already has very strong plate discipline, in addition to all the tools - if he stays in the minors all season (likely, since no openings at the mlb level for him) and puts up similar numbers to last year, he's going to be in the top 5 prospects in all of baseball easily...and playing for a big market team, hype and looking at breaking camp with the phillies out of the spring in 2011, that card would go for triple+ what it would get right now. If you can hedge your bets by making money on anything else of Brown that isn't as rare right now, I'd say do that and hold this one.

I agree.

He got sent down, and watching the AB he had against Verlander where he belted that HR, he has a TON of potential!

Ditto. I would be surprised if most of the people at the show even know who he is. Best bet for him is to throw it on the Bay. Or now that Brown is down he could hold it if he's not into it heavy or doesn't need the $$ right now.
Just me buck ana qwuata.
