I'd say a range between $2,500 - $4,000. It's hard to define a good price.

Wow, that's crazy!! My best pull ever prior to this was an Bowman Chrome Austin Jackson Superfractor Auto 1/1 that I sold for $1500. Does anyone know what number I would call at Topps to check on the stock of this card?

I don't know why you'd want to. I'd just redeem it. They have it in stock for sure since they have all the other ones signed.
AGREED.
Go redeem that bad boy.
I'd imagine it'll ship later in the week since they have it in hand.

Recently, they've been very fast with cards that have been in house.

Are there any Canadians on here who've redeemed high end cards with Topps? Just wondering how they ship them, UPS, Fedex?

I would 1,000,000,000,000,000% sell as a redemption as opposed to trying to redeem it

Disagree
I would contact Topps, verify that they have these in hand ready to fulfill the redemption
Once you confirm, redeem that card, get it in hand, get it graded and be ready to sell at a moments notice!

Agreed.

However I do not think right now is the time to sell. Strasburg still has once in a lifetime talent and 'should' put up phenomonal numbers rather quickly. I would wait for a verlander-esque moment to sell.

I would hazard to guess that holding something for a certain future moment has been the un-doing of more prospectors that almost anything else? Sell while there's hype, don't wait for a specific kind of hype.

Do you have a friend/family in the US who can redeem/sell for you?

Might make the whole process easier.

Also if you sell it as a redemption you can run into trouble if some a hole decides to say the code doesn't work

Good suggestions, will probably spend a couple of days pondering those points.

Just seems like it takes FOREVER for mail to get to Canada from the US because of customs, and out of the two times I've bought from Canadian ebayers:

1. Took about a month to arrive
2. Never arrived.

If you redeem, I would be interested to know how they ship and if you have any duty/fee troubles with UPS/Fedex. UPS charges some ridiculous prices for bringing over items of any value from the states... I would be curious to see if Topps has some arrangement so they take care of all the fees.

I seem to remember the red auto from Topps Chrome went in the $3k neighborhood within the last few months. Great pull!

I just listed it on Ebay to get a better feel, though I'm using everyone's input here as a guideline. Within the first 5 minutes I had 2 offers:
1st-$2000

2nd-$1200 ::facepalm::

I might take the consignment route or work out a trade, cash/trade as well.

But the whole thing is, is whoever he gets it shipped to in the US, STILL has to ship it to him, so hes back at square one. Thats why i was asking "How would it be easier getting the card shipped to a friend in the US?". Only way i can see it being easier, is if C-Find never wants to see/have the card in-hand and the friend in the US sells it for him. Id imagine though that Cfind would want the card in hand for at least a week or two just to enjoy it for awhile.

** i do notice now that you wrote redeem/sell. didn't see the sell part earlier, haha^^

You have some back luck then, in my 1000+ transactions between Canada and the US over the years, ive only ever had one item not arrive and it was only a $20 jersey card, i don't even know 100% if the guy even shipped it. That was about 6 years ago and haven't had a problem since. Yes, shipping times can vary and theres really no reasoning over it, some mail will take one week some times it can take 3 or 4 weeks. On average though, id say 80% of my packages arrive between 1 and 2 weeks.

These people offering $1200, $1300 and $1500 are hoping you're dumb so they can make a cool $2K profit

Im sure you'll get an offer of $3K if you hold out a bit.

1. Send the redemption to boomo
2. Let him list it as an auction .99 for 7 days
3. Watch and have fun as you rake in the cash

I emailed him after I read the suggestions, it's still early here so I may have to wait a bit for a response.
