i am not much of a football collector but i have a 1996 super bowl coca-cola party poster signed by roger staubach, jim kelly, john elway, drew bledsoe, howie long and warren moon. i received the item from my high school girlfriend's father who was a regional vp for coke. he had it hanging in his office with thumb tacks. naturally, there is some damage along the edges. i took it to a local dealer whom specializes in custom framing. he is going to get it framed and matted for me for $75. i had an offer at the shop for $300 once it is framed. is that reasonable or could i expect more? also, i have another poster from 98 which is a little rougher. it is on a heavier stock and some of the creases have resulted in discoloration. however the autographs (lynn swan, jack ham, warren moon and gale sayers) are unaffected. since it is on a heavier stock, i am kicking around the idea of cutting the sigs out and trapping them behind a mat with an 8x10...would it be worth the trouble? thanks in advance!

I wouldn't sell that for $300 if it was mine once it's framed. You have 5 HOFers and Bledsoe on there, and he certainly wasn't a scrub. I would want at least $375-400 for it.

The 2nd poster is just as good, maybe even better, as Lynn Swann is a RARE signer. His autos alone sell for over $150.

If it was mine and didn't want to keep it intact, I would cut each one out and frame them individually below an 8x10 of the player.

that what i was figuring...the shop owner said they could smooth out the crease and possibly touch up the discoloration but that seems like a pain in the arse. thanks for the help and i'll be sure to post a pic once it arrives. :D
