Peterson is more to blame than Favre, his errors put the Vikes in that position in the first place, you can't go into
the most important game of your life and put it on the ground. Vikes may have one more run in them next year but
it has to be with Favre, after that the window will close, you can't expect the Bears and Lions to suck forever..well
at least the Bears.
Since when have the bears sucked? :?

Well I think you got that backwards about the Lions and the Bears although at least the Lions seem to be picking up some better players, just they need so many! Da Bears just seem to be a mess at QB with Orton or now Cutler and until that straightens out it might be a Lions-like drought coming for them.

I was wondering if he puts Crisco on his hands, or did they put them on the balls this game the way they were fumbling. I mean geez if it is this easy to force fumbles why aren't there more of them during the season???

What's with the Whoooo Dat crap didn't the Bengals do that during the Icky Woods days, or is it one of those things that any team can use it if they think that they are good enough?

No clue. I'm just happy my team doesn't have an ebonics laden chant. ::facepalm::

I actually posted a thread on this once: http://www.freedomcardboard.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=71064&st=0&sk=t&sd=a

Due to verbage that was not known by some, the thread took an unfortunate turn for the worst. That was my fault for not being more clear.

Anywho, the Bengals use the chant Who Dey. They began using that chant in 1981. The Saints use Who Dat. They began using that chant in 1983. So the Bengals used theirs first. However, the Who Dat chant was being used by high schools and colleges in Louisiana prior to the Bengals adopting the Who Dey chant.

On a side note. I don't care what anyone says, Brett Favre could play on a football team of mine any day. True, the retirement **** gets tired, but there's no way to really argue the guy's production. He made a poor decision at the end of regulation, but there aren't any QBs that haven't made poor decisions. Sometimes, it just happens. Without Favre, the Vikings don't even sniff the Super Bowl.

People can blame Favre all they want, but the fact is that we wouldn't have come this far without Favre. We played ****** and thats the only explaination. You can't win with 5 turnovers, and the Vikings proved that.

They could have won with 4 though! That is the point, old cowboy burns his teams when they need him most. If the Vikings are REALLY serious about winning a Super Bowl, they need to find an answer at QB. If Vikings fans are happy with going 14-2 and losing in the playoffs, then keep Favre.

oh so if he would not have threw the int it was a gurantee that longwell was going to make a kick that was actually outside of his range right?

Being the coach, you have to think that is the way you win the game. Otherwise, why have the guy on the roster . Oh wait.. you could run the ball closer for your FG kicker and not get the 5 yard penalty due to trying to be cute. That was the game and the Vikes wer elucky to be put in that position considering the errors they made. Failure on the coach by even putting Favre in a position to throw the ball and epic failure by Favre for throwing it across the field.
