Outstanding work. This looks like a fun collection.

It's great for you that his popularity is down. He doesn't have that classic QB look and he doesn't throw the prettiest passes, but I've seen him win enough games to know that he has the poise to perform when the game is on the line and the intangibles to lead a team. If he can find a decent situation to land in and stay healthy, you could see a real nice ROI. Good luck!

Did you go to college, or grow up rooting for a certain college team?

I've been going to UT games since I was 4. My parents went there. Hell, my mom dated Tommy Nobis. I went there briefly. Texas has always been my team. I never had a hometown pro team in any sport growing up in Austin. I've bounced around throughout my life rooting for different pro teams and players. UT is the closest thing I've come to being a lifelong fan of anything.

If I have a choice between picking up a college or NFL card, I'll choose NFL 95% of the time. I'll only pick up an NCAA card for a player I remember more for his college exploits. So mostly Big 12 players.

I did go to college, but to Central Washington University and no, I didn't have a colelge team I specifically rooted for as a kid. UW would be the closest affiliation I had. I thought about collecting Central guys but the list is incredibly small. To my knowledge the only guys I can think of are:

Jon Kitna (which i have in the Seahawks colelction)
Mike Reilly (again, was signed by the Seahawks for about a week)
Jared Bronson (not many cards out there of him)

I also have a pair of Vince's game worn (and autographed) Titans cleats. STILL have some turf and dirt on them! I'll have to dig them out some time and take a good picture.
