This is pretty ridiculous. I think it was just a few years ago when Topps did manufactured bat barrels as well. Lame!

Yes , it's a lane they (any company) didn't need to enter. Who is jumping at the opportunity to own a manufactured/knock off card? (Barrel , knob , patch , whatever) Sure there are people (myself included) who can't afford a lot of these real items , but in no way do I have any desire to own a manufactured on. It's silly for them to even do, create a cool insert based on design and people would be happy. They are doing things no one cares about at the same time depreciating the appeal of the real thing.

Picked up my 2nd lefty Gomez diamond kings 1/1 patch. The cards look identical accept for a piece of gold foiling compared black foiling. Not sure why they made two 1/1 cards that look 99.5 % identical? However the patches and card design are very nice.
