Dang, George. Probably the coolest thing in the thread IMO. Nothing else
has that personal experience tied to it.

Thanks Ryan and I agreed on the pic, being his patches are rare we have to take what we can get, lol.Great looking JR Tony. I wish the image was a lil larger of him, but can't really complain too much on that.

Whoever just won the Ozzie Ultimate Patch for $33, you're welcome that my computer froze;(

When you start to bid on lots of high end you realize anything can happen. I have a dozen or more stories where I turned down a second chance offer only for it to sell for way more than it did the first time, usually a bidding war. I was second bidder on a Tony Gwynn shoe patch with his auto on the shoe, it ended at 650 and I bid 625. I received the second chance offer (which I often do when bidding on highend) I thought and thought and said no because something else came up. Well it got relisted and ended at 1475 with high bidder at 7 feedback. I thought wtf? Never got relisted again. Moral of the story, it happen, sometimes shady sometimes legit. I don't like second chance offers but if its something you really like or want, do not hesitate as sometimes having the item (if you really really want it) exceeds the principle. Out of those dozen or more I passed up, there are 3 I regret to this day. I have not seen those items again. That Campy prime is all sorts of shady. Ended at $425 under a month ago and was immediately offered at second chance. Now a 20 feedback bidder has it pushed to over $900?
getting to be too much shadiness in the vintage patch card market. I've gotten to the point where I don't think I trust any of major sellers.
