For guys who are interested in vintage Yankee pinstripes (not a patch, sorry), Lefty Gomez stuff has started going down due to products pouring him onto the market.

I got the other copy of this that was up for $45 DLVD. Seemed solid.

I bought a Gomez jersey for like $80 with the National Treasures product launched :(, waiting on a nice patch to come out in a product soon though I know they're coming!

There have been a few small patches done for 1/1's... so I'd have to imagine there's a bit more waiting in the wings.

Yeah I've seen one 1/1 and that's it so far but I'm sure there are a couple others out there, there are some dual pieces but I would much much rather an individual patch personally. I missed the boat on him and Pennock as NT launched, I did pick up a Ferrell though. Pennock won't be difficult I don't think I've seen a bunch of his come up.

Fair warning. The current Klu tag piece won't be as cheap as the chain stitching. I have the patch version that's a part of the logo, and I forgot to set a snipe for the stitched version. I won't forget on this one... so I apologize, Tim, but it looks like one of us is going to have to pay more. :(

Eh, i wasnt planning on bidding. Mainly because I didn't see it.

It sure is Joe, went about a little under a grand higher than I had originally predicted. I know Tony was chasing it, wonder if he won it.

That is a sweet card ! N I don't think who we wanted to get it did ;(
I think the the seller should of used "patch" in the title too. Regardless , it's a great card.

A rare gehrig and ruth patch are just unpredictable, same goes with there knobs and barrels. I guessed anywhere from 2500-5000. A set collector could have been bidding also. I've see ruth patches from that set recently sell for 1700 and also 6200. can't predict the ultra premium gehrig and ruth pieces

There is some truth to the unpredictability as I can't say I have not seen items that I thought would sell for hundreds more sell for hundreds less and items I thought would go cheap sell for hundreds more. With that said I did not think Gehrig would reach Ruth price levels.

Neither "patch" nor "prime" was used in the title...I've never seen a Gehrig patch go for this much. The last 2001 Ruth Leaf I saw went for $2700...I was VERY surprised by this

A couple 2001 ruth sold offline for 5k each. So 2700 was a steal

It was 100% a steal, it was a title with neither patch nor prime in it as well I don't even remember if jersey was in the title. It was a BO of $3500 and wound up selling for $2700 - if the same card came up for $2700 BIN I wouldn't be able to hit it quickly enough. Sometimes you get really lucky with something like that, and also I wouldn't doubt that others have sold since then and I've just missed them - this was maybe a year or so ago maybe a little less

The Celeb cut that's up now , shows three sides of patch. Anyone know what jersey it was from? It should either be for the A in Yankees or a 4 if there was a small 4 on the jersey. Although I dislike the card it's a nice patch where you should be able to make out where it came from. Any of you guys know how many and what years/versions of jerseys and pants are out there of Ruth and Gehrig?

Has this one resold recently? This was one of my greatest flips.
