Vintage Graded Question

I have a question for the graded vintage crowd. I'm looking at buying a card that is in a slab with a BCCG grade of 8. What I would like to know is if this is an early version of Beckett vintage grading? Thanks for any and all answers.

bccg is cheap crap. stay far away. http://www.beckett.com/grading/pricing.asp
they are also know for grading trimmed cadrs
