Ever since I made the decision to venture into vintage, I've had my eye on one card in particular. In the short time I've followed it, it rarely pops up for auction and is almost always overpriced when offered. I can finally cross this one off my list. Eye appeal is amazing, in my opinion, despite the crease down the middle. I acutally had my snipe set much higher than I won it for and figured it wouldn't be enough, so I was very happy to find I'd won it and for less than I'd planned to spend. It's not the most pricey card out there, but I'm very happy with it.

When I found it with a day left to go, I frantically pmed several members to ask their opinion on authenticity. I was worried I'd miss it, but was afraid to bid if it didn't look authentic. Thank you so much to those that responded. You really helped me get this nice card for my PC. Thanks to sethyarkony, JoshHamilton, dano7, and scotty21690

I'm also VERY happy that you got the card and that you're happy with it. If I can ever be of any further service, don't hesitate to ask. If I don't know something, I won't hesitate to say so.

For my own additions, I have to thank martincp for selling them to me. It is a rare treat getting mail all the way from England!
T206 Hal Chase throwing with white cap for my Yankees collection.
Frank King for my "local" collection, as Danville is only about an hour and a half from Roanoke.
Thanks, Martin!!

My latest pickups;
1st - A 1921 Sisler Exhibit - Since reading "The Sizzler" a couple of years ago, I realized what a phenomenal player he was, great hitter, fielder, base-stealer and surprising to me at the time, also a great pitcher.

Also picked up these for my Joe Nuxhall collection

Just picked up some low grade T3's. I remember one guy had something about wanting an affordable McGraw in his sig file, just don't remember who it was.

Nice Nuxhall collection. Those look great!

The T3's are just plain art work. VERY nice.

all are on ebay now, my id is go-bassn

thanks again for the heads up. I'll be watching and hoping one of the ones I want stays in my price range. I'm betting they won't though. I'll eventually get one, but even if it's not one of these at least I'll have another reference of how much I can expect to spend.
